Fuqua Goes Hollywood

Movie Making Camp

Make your own stories

During this short week, campers watched 4 different films: My Neighbor Totoro, Spiderman Into the Spiderverse, The Goonies, and Back to the Future. We also watched different short documentaries about filmmaking and how it all works.

Campers then set out each day to make their own movie magic using the app iMovie! This camp was such a blast and I hope these guys keep making movies!

Thank you to Fuqua School for letting me host this camp! Check them out here: https://www.fuquaschool.org

the Fuqua cinematic universe.

On day 1 these guys just wanted to talk about comic book movies, so our first trailer was our own little Avengers trailer, letting the kids show off their own super potential!

A FAMILIAR face, reimagined

On our second day, campers decided to make a scary movie trailer. They chose to use an already popular character, the Lorax, and make him the monster of their highly anticipated summer scary flick.

A pirate sized adventure

After watching hit 80’s movie the goonies, campers wanted to make their own adventure/pirate film trailer. This one was the fist that campers made all by themselves and it came out great!

A Sci-fi journey

After watching the hit 80s sci-fi blockbuster, Back to the Future, campers set out to make their own science fiction movie trailer (with more action of course).

Thank You for joining me for Fuqua Goes Hollywood!!!
