To Whom it May Concern…

One thing that I want out of my design career is to use art to make a difference. During my time at University, I was a part of a group project for a social good campaign. We were tasked with creating a campaign with a specific message for a specific audience. We wanted to start broad and go from there and we decided to focus on the issue close to all of our hearts, suicide awareness. From there we brainstormed where to go next and decided that our campaign would target an older demographic (40+) to help inform them about how suicide has affected the younger generations (primarily gen Z). We decided to call this campaign “To Whom It May Concern” and treat it as a letter of sorts from one generation to another. Being a part of this project was so amazing and taught me the how my work as a designer can be used to impact the lives of so many. I hope in the future to continue making projects that can help spread awareness of many of the issues our society faces today.
